In April 2016 it will be 400 years since the death of the personage whose distinctive dome, as depicted by Will Nice, decorates LUPO’s masthead and whose New Place kitchen and cellars are currently being excavated.
So something to mark the anniversary from the Lupine laughsmiths seems in order, whether, song, sonnet, epigram or whatever, as from the lad himself, or a contemporary of his like B. Jonson (or a contemporary of ours like B. Johnson?) or a comment in verse, light or even otherwise, in your own voice, or what you will.
