And so LUPO see its eighth year out with an issue of all the talents, old and new. Here be dinner-parties, dogs, Paris Hilton, sea-anemones, Scottish clans, sneers, sock-watchers, spiders, sprayers, stones, suckers, sweaters and much else about Lexis, Life, Love and Literature, all laced with a dollop of seasonal spirit. In addition, a gender-balanced ensemble of ladies and laddies will dance in shorts for your delight during the interval.

Making its bow is a swinging sextet of verbal prestidigitators in the shape of  Steven Clayman, Jenna Le, Barbara Loots, Lee Nash, Orel Protopopescu and Toby Speed.

A warm welcome to them, as well as thanks to LUPO’s multi-national contributors, some of whom have already contrived to make the March 2016 file interestingly bulgy, and apologies to those whose pieces have had to be held over.

Best wishes to everyone for the solsticial festivities and a happy, harmonious and healthy New Year.
