Bank branches are not doing well.
We’re told we should visit a hub
And buy all the products they sell
Without any chance of a sub.
It seems that the problem is cash,
It’s dirty and takes lots of time;
A card is so easy to flash
And no one gets covered in grime.
Our banking can be done online,
Get what you want via phone,
To cut out a human is fine,
Deliveries are now done by drone.
But think of the vulnerable few,
Who don't have the skills that they need;
The cashier was someone they knew,
And trusted with mortgage or deed.
