A colorful parrot espied
A toucan who clearly implied
His beak was much longer
His claws so much stronger
He puffed up his feathers with pride.
Now parrot saw no such disparity
And felt that to talk was a rarity.
He said to the toucan,
"I hope me and you can
Agree that my words give me parity.”
Poor toucan was taken aback
By a talent that he seemed to lack.
He opened his beak
And attempted to speak,
But all he could manage was “quack”.
