Sandals solve the argument
That every summer grows,
As tender feet soak in the heat,
Between your soles and toes.
“Be careful please protect us”, say
Your soles, “from thorns and rocks.
You need to wear shoes every day,
And shoes are best with socks.”
But toes reply “We love the sky
And need to see the sun,
Be kissed by wind, and soaked by rain,
And sunburned, every one.”
