Another Choice Chris O’Carroll Collection

Chris O’Carroll, well known to LUPO readers as a regular performer in its issues, has a second Kelsay collection of his verse, Abracadabratude, out and available from Amazon. It contains nearly seventy of his entertaining and sometimes thought-provoking comments on life, love and a wealth of other matters. His wit and mastery of the craft of light verse is also displayed in his deft handling of many favourite forms.

According to Leslie Monsour, “If Alexander Pope and Wendy Cope got married, and their child grew up in the Sixties, his name would be Chris O’Carroll.”, while Alfred Nicol in his Introduction imagines him “raising a glass with the gang at the Mermaid Tavern.” There are some  thoughts to make anyone want to add his latest offering to their shelves.
