Enriquetta Carrington

. . . grew up in Mexico but now lives in New Jersey where she teaches mathematics at Rutgers University. Along the way she has made the time to commit (her choice of word, not mine - M.P.) poems in Spanish and English, some of which have recently appeared or are imminent in Blue Unicorn, 14 by 14, The Shit Creek Review, The Chimaera, and Contemporary Sonnet. She is the translator of several volumes of poetry, including the anthology Treasury of Mexican Love Poems (Hippocrene Books, New York) and Samandar: Libro de Viajes/Book of Travels, by Lourdes Vázquez (Editorial Tsé-Tsé, Buenos Aires, Argentina).
