Mae Scanlan

Emanating from America, though clearly influenced by her three hundred year-old English genes, her work has been widely published and appears with welcome frequency in The Spectator, The Washington Post and the Chicago published Light.

(For more on the life of Mae Scanlan, 1931-2019, a regular and prolific contributor since Issue 3, see Light Winter/Spring 2019 and Lighten Up Online March 2019. Her poem on the pituitary gland in Issue 18 June 2012 was amongst those read at her funeral service.)
