Rumi Morkin

'Rumi Morkin' is the pen-name of London-born Miriam Webber, who now lives in Israel. Miriam has written poetry for many years while working at various handcrafts, which she has also taught. She does English editing and translating. The story of her husband's Alzheimer's disease was published in Kibbutz Trends in 2003. Miriam has self-published two poetry chapbooks; Volume 3 is in preparation. Her poems and short stories have been published in the Deronda Review, Sasson Magazine, Prosopisia and Narrow Road. She was second prize winner in the 2019 Reuben Rose Poetry Competition of Israel.
