He has recently been awarded the post of Poet Laureate by the Tripe Marketing Board and regularly appears at Verbalise in The Brewery Arts Centre, Kendal, The Spotlight Club in Lancaster and other performance poetry venues in the North West of England.

. . .  is also an acclaimed storyteller.  Absorbed by the challenge of rhyme, she often puts familiar stories into narrative verse.  Within her poems' high jinks, their slightly crazed logic and addictive metrical form, there are to be found gleams of wisdom. She refers to herself as an author who speaks out loud.
