Undaunted by Hurricane Helene’s deposition of several pine-trees on her roof last autumn, longstanding contributor Jane Blanchard completed her eighth Kelsay Books collection Furthermore, which was published on February 26th. Its ninety pages include eight poems that first appeared here in LUPO. The collection’s topics range from Tiger Woods to the Book of Kells, or, in this versatile poet’s deft light vein, Wimbledon’s dress codes to Scottish snow vocabulary.
As another LUPO contributor, Paul Willis, notes on the back cover, “The aptly titled Furthermore reminds there is always something else to laugh at, something else to cry over.”
