Long standing LUPO contributor Jane Blanchard’s Phenomena, a collection of 70 sonnets, was published on 2nd July 2026 by Kelsay Books. (ISBN-13: 979-890 14 68 630) Available from Kelsay and Amazon.
The epigraph references Wordsworth’s ‘the sonnet’s scanty plot of ground’, but Phenomena covers a great deal of it, from family life and strife, paintings, football, and birds to a eulogy for a bull and topics over here such as Tintagel and Avebury. There is humour too with Faux Beau and The Cow Horn Club, not to mention Croquet which first appeared in LUPO in March 2020.
